Green Rooms and Plant Savers would like to offer a free plant to NHS workers.
This is our small way to say a big thank you for the tireless support that NHS workers have provided over the pandemic. A limited number of plants will be available on a first-come-first-served basis at our upcoming market at Beckenham Place Mansion. Bring your NHS ID card to receive your plant.

When lockdown first hit in March 2020, three London based friends had the idea to support the British plant nurseries impacted by the closure of retailers and garden centres. Their aim was to help save the millions of plants that were going to waste and deliver them to families all over London and beyond.
One year on and with a wide and reputable range of garden plants, houseplants, fruit and veg plants available for sale on their website (sourced from British growers), Plant Savers has delivered to over 20,000 customers, saved over 300,000 plants from waste and raised £20,000 for charity.
Via their website you can shop individual plants or chose from their carefully curated range of ‘bundles’ to make your plant choices easier.
It doesn’t stop there….
Since Plant Savers began they have been employing out of work actors, entertainers and singers to deliver the plants all across London and beyond. They work hard to optimise routes to cover as little distance as possible, minimising carbon emissions from their deliveries.
Working with British growers and nurseries means that the plants are travelling far less distance to get to their customers, cutting down on the carbon footprint whilst helping to keep these vital British businesses thriving.
